The motivation behind all these things is to gain the perfect balance of investigating how things really work (including myself and other people!) and to help us all fulfil our max potential for satisfaction and happiness. These interests fit well with my practice as a Buddhist, which centres around reading, pondering, and discussing, as well as meditating and going on retreats.
